I really did not believe all the comments about Anthony making their floors like new floors, but that is exactly what he did to our floors. We have old Florida Red Oak with several big areas of water damage and when he was finished those areas looked brand new as did the rest of the oak flooring. The job took a little longer because I wanted a fourth coat of sealer and that added to the cost but it was well worth it.

I first called Gold Coast for a price to refinish a floor in one of my bedrooms. He came timely for the appt but his quote was higher than a couple others. I chose one of the cheaper bids and what a mistake!!!! It was so horrible I had to call Gold Coast Hardwood back to have him try and repair/salvage the mess made by the first crew. We had Gold Coast Hardwood Floor refinish the floors in our house and guest cottage in three stages over the course of a year. At every stage, Anthony Iannone (the owner of Gold Coast Hardwood Floor) did an outstanding job to sand the old wood floor finishing, prepare the floor by filling in cracks and nail holes, and then applying oil-based polyurethane finish. In addition, he fabricated several thresholds to transition from hardwood floor to tile – these thresholds were custom-made and perfectly matched the color of the refinished hardwood floor. The quality of the work performed was outstanding. Everyone who has seen our refinished floors has remarked that they look gorgeous!

Excellent. Anthony is the real deal. Gold Coast is a small company and I hope it stays that way. It is Anthony who makes the company great. He does honest work and does it with pride. I worked with him a bit on the project (because I like to be involved and learn) and I could tell that Anthony is more a craftsman than a "flooring guy." He is fair in his pricing but refuses to cut corners and do shoddy work. If you are simply looking for a bargain, you may want to look elsewhere. If you want a great job, give Anthony a call to see what he can do. Also, I was impressed by his cleanliness during the job.

The floors look terrific, they protected our moldings and appliances and where they felt the floors needed filling between the boards they did an excellent job filling and sanding. They were dependable and did excellent work. They were not the lowest price we received to do the job but for the value we received they were well worth it!

Anthony and his partner came out to estimate refinishing all our hardwood floors within 24 hours of my call. They were very professional, listened to my needs and responded with a written proposal within 24 hours. They sanded approximately 3000 sq feet of floors and applied 3 coats of water based stain.
